The cotton of this shirt has a beautiful sheen and it comes in gargoyle (a mid-grey tone) that makes it easy to wear with anything. At the front of the button-down, slightly cropped collar, this shirt has a nice touch; the top shirt button is covered by a small fabric flap that is fastened with buttons under the collar. The button panel only stretches two-thirds of the way down the front of this shirt. The opposite side of the opening has grey tape from where the button panel ends to the hem.
Police and thieves
Embroidered on the back in black curly script are the lyrics that give this tee its 80s antiestablishment feel: “Police and thieves in the street - taken from the Clash song of that title. At the bottom of the shirt in smaller letters, the lyric continues: “Fighting the nation with their guns and ammunition. The Clash was one of the most outspoken bands against the Thatcher government, which oversaw a time of social unrest and the frequent use of riot police.
Criminal branding
This shirt has a thin vertical panel on the left shoulder with a small metal arrow rivet. The twisted logo is embroidered at the bottom of the left seam in grey.
